Diversity Panel at FotoWeekDC

By WPOW · On November 16, 2015

Last week, WPOW was honored to have photographers Endia Beal, Jahi Chikwendiu, Zun Lee and Nina Robinson join our discussion panel about diversity in the media. Each of these people has dedicated themselves to projects relating to how underrepresented communities are covered and perceived in the media.

Below we have included the full panel discussion at FotoWeekDC. It was an important and illuminating discussion, but we just scratched the surface on a conversation we hope continues. Please feel free to comment below respectfully. Raise issues, ask questions and generate ideas.

Thank you to our inspiring panelists and our fantastic moderator, MaryAnne Golon, Director of Photography of the Washington Post. Please stay tuned for an elaboration on this discussion with our panelists, coming soon on the blog!
